Services
We share our first hand experience with Chinese business and politics and support our business partners in navigating through an often complex and unsteady environment. Our aim is to establish successful international business partnerships through innovative solutions. Our services include:

Business trips and match-making
Bringing together suitable companies or political partners is always the first step in building successful business relationships. This is why we have been organising and moderating such processes for many years and gathered a lot of experience. In view of the current geopolitical situation, it is important to keep an eye on the interface between politics and business and to share the relevant contacts with our clients. For German companies, we organise exclusive trips to China, usually together with our German corporate partners, where future technologies, investment opportunities and geopolitical aspirations can be experienced at first hand in discussions with decision-makers.

Analysis
It is our firm conviction that we can only maintain the quality of our company if we keep our minds on the pulse of geopolitical changes, speak openly with our partners on all sides and systematically follow academic discourse. We also actively contribute to the discussion ourselves by offering lectures for companies, organizing a Blog:https://weltneuvermessung.wordpress.com/ on the subject of global power shifts, present ourselves at conferences and roundtables and continuously publishing articles in renowned journals.

Business services
We have offered business services since our foundation in 2014 and continue to pursue this area to this day. Our clients include public institutions – such as ministries, authorities and universities – as well as private companies. In most cases, we accompany Chinese and German partners on how to build successful international business relationships or dialogue mechanisms. In suitable individual cases, this has resulted in holding shares in new companies.
We provide hands on support based on our long-established networks in the development of technology partnerships. Our preferred approaches utilise AI solutions for the emergency rescue services, biomedicine and agribusiness. In addition, we have continuously developed our geopolitical expertise to support companies on growth strategies in the areas of marketing & sales in China and Germany.

Supporting the German Mittelstand (small and medium-sized enterprises) while increasing growth and prosperity in countries of the Global South.
Germany has built a significant level of trust through its long-standing cooperation across various levels and sectors in the development of Global South countries. However, the relevant policy areas—foreign trade promotion and international cooperation—are only partially aligned, meaning that these established structures on the ground are rarely utilized effectively to access or expand into new markets.
As a mediator between these policy areas and with our strong connections to both business and international cooperation, we offer an approach that balances the economic interests of the Mittelstand (German SMEs) with Germany’s reputation as a reliable partner.
What we offer:
– We provide sector analyses for selected countries that German companies can utilize.
– We facilitate contacts with economic partners and government agencies in these countries.
– We advise German companies on how to successfully navigate the complex landscape of funding instruments and submit applications that meet the respective requirements.
– Upon request, we also offer our in-depth knowledge of local structures even after a deal is concluded, supporting the establishment of sustainable economic partnerships.
We cover these services for a number of countries with a cooperation history with Germany. As an example, the following two country profiles will provide a glimpse of services we can offer.
Ukraine:
Even amid the ongoing war, Ukraine already offers attractive investment opportunities for German SMEs. Additionally, in preparation for post-war reconstruction, the following sectors are particularly promising:
· Energy Supply: Rebuilding energy infrastructure and expanding renewable energy use are key priorities. Decentralized energy sources like wind and solar are gaining importance due to their resilience against attacks.
· Metal Processing & Engineering: Ukraine has a strong industrial base with skilled workforce, which can be further developed through investments.
· Agriculture & Food Production: As a major producer of agricultural commodities like sunflower, potatoes and wheat, Ukraine offers vast opportunities for modern processing technologies.
· Information Technology & Outsourcing: Despite current challenges, Ukraine’s IT sector is leading for a number of IT- and AI-based services and continues to grow, presenting excellent collaboration potential for German companies.
· Construction & Infrastructure: The reconstruction of destroyed cities and transportation networks creates long-term business prospects.
Several funding programs are available for German companies looking to invest in Ukraine. The German government has approved measures to support economic reconstruction, including financial grants and investment guarantees for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Ukraine’s ongoing EU accession negotiations are enhancing legal certainty, and the government has prioritized anti-corruption measures. The country’s highly skilled workforce, competitive labor costs, and proximity to the EU single market present compelling investment opportunities. These advantages make a strong case for engaging in Ukraine now—despite the ongoing war.
Sri Lanka:
Sri Lanka offers promising economic sectors for German SMEs, including:
· Tourism: The steadily growing tourism sector presents opportunities for German companies, particularly in sustainable tourism and hotel management.
· Information Technology (IT): Sri Lanka is heavily investing in IT, especially software development, e-commerce, and IT services. German companies benefit from a highly skilled workforce and strong English proficiency.
· Textile & Apparel Industry: German firms are already active in knitwear and garment production, with further investment potential. A skilled and experienced workforce is an additional asset.
· Engineering & Automotive Supply Industry: Companies like Continental and Kramski have already invested in Sri Lanka, leveraging cost-effective production conditions.
· Renewable Energy: Sri Lanka’s push for sustainable energy creates opportunities in solar and wind power for German businesses.
The country boasts a large pool of well-trained professionals with strong English skills. As a member of the SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation), Sri Lanka qualifies for preferential trade terms under the South Asian Preferential Trade Arrangement (SAPTA), enabling duty-advantaged access to a market covering one-fifth of the global population with high growth potential.
